Every interpretation job is a little bit different. That’s why we have a system that meets the needs of your business or organization, no matter what you specialize in. LTC interpreters are highly trained and we provide a wide spectrum of services including in-person, video, and phone services.
Face to Face
LTC provides oral interpreting services for a variety of situations including, but not limited to appointments, meetings, consultations, conferences, and events. LTC sets itself apart through offering high-quality interpreting coupled with competitive rates and a full-time staff to support your needs.
LTC provides excellent 24/7 phone interpreting with a connection rate of fewer than 20 seconds. Phone interpreting is perfect for emergency situations in which an interpreter cannot come to the location within a specified time frame. Phone interpreting can also be used when a rare language or dialect is needed and an onsite interpreter is not available.
Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) is the video chat equivalent of phone interpretation. VRI is an on-demand, cost-effective alternative in-person interpretation, especially for ASL. The LTC Language Solutions VRI service is available through any computer with internet access and a webcam, making it convenient for you to use with your existing systems.
LTC Language Solutions provides 24/7 interpretation services that are accurate and professional. Our interpreters are industry-specific to meet your needs. We provide interpreters in over 100 Languages anywhere, anytime.
MODES OF INTERPRETING
Consecutive interpreters are often used in court hearings, depositions, interviews, medical appointments and meetings. In this setting, the interpreter establishes a rhythm with the speaker that allows frequent pauses giving the interpreter the opportunity to accurately interpret.
Simultaneous interpreters have specialized training and skills that allow them to interpret as the speaker talks, with no need for pauses. Simultaneous interpreting is used mainly at conferences and meetings and requires equipment such as headsets for the client, which we can provide.
Liason interpreting is a less involved process than other modes of interpreting. The interpreter typically shadows the client for several hours, or all day long in their activities, and communicates only what the person being shadowed requests them to interpret.
Our highly trained video remote interpreters (VRI) are located in call centers across the country and are available 24/7. Video interpreting is an excellent choice when a sudden language barrier arises and the situation requires visual cues. VRI is also crucial for our clients that routinely interact with Deaf or Hard of Hearing individuals that use American Sign Language (ASL).
Our premier phone interpreting service is a great fit for unexpected needs or short conversations that require a skilled interpreter. Connecting to an interpreter is as simple as dialing our toll-free line, entering in your PIN, and saying the language that you need to be interpreted. Within seconds an interpreter will connect from one of our call centers to assist you.
