TRAINED & QUALIFIED INTERPRETERS

In order to ensure the highest quality of interpreters, LTC utilizes an extensive vetting process in onboarding each individual. This begins with a review of work experience, certification, and qualifications. We then assess language skills and for those interpreters who advance to the next level, walk them through a comprehensive orientation to outline expectations and professionalism as an LTC interpreter.

PROFESSIONALISM

LTC implements a strict dress code for interpreters in order to uphold a professional appearance that is appropriate for all settings. This is reviewed at orientation and we maintain regular communication with interpreters to ensure compliance.

Part of that attire includes LTC interpreter badges. These badges clearly identify our interpreters and are meant to help clients with safety, identification, and reporting. LTC is also happy to have interpreters wear client-specific badges where preferred.
