I’m amazed by the number of ways our society is connected. Communication exists on a multitude of platforms. However, none is greater than that which involves language.
I find it incredibly exciting to be part of a process that helps to create connections through the use of language. At the smallest level of the process I’ve seen individuals taking a class to learn a new language. At the largest end, I’ve seen American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters signing at a large concert for an internationally renowned musician.
The scope of language connections can go beyond a class or a concert. For example, websites have been translated so a person from another country can read what is provided in their language. I mean an actual person, carefully, methodically, translating the content, not an electronic program.
There is a map that is placed above this post. This map represents where LTC Language Solutions is located and that grows every day. I want to invite you to join me in this exciting process that answers the question of how language can bridge the communication gap.
This process allows lives to be transformed by creating connections. I’m a driver of that process and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I’m curious to know your thoughts. In what ways have you seen language used to bring about connections?
