LTC Language Solutions has been inducted as the newest DC Welcome China Certified Member.
Destination DC’s Welcome China official certification program is in place to welcome Chinese visitors through marketing, sales and service outlets. Certified members are those who understand, welcome and are prepared for the Chinese market.
With LTC’s long history of working with China, being inducted as a certified member for Welcome China is an added accomplishment. LTC offers a full range of language solutions and a wealth of expertise in the areas of globalization, localization, and cross cultural sensitivity.
LTC’s CEO Martin George received an Associate’s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature from Shantou University-China, where he also learned to speak fluent Mandarin. Martin spent 7 years living in China working for the U.S. government to begin his expansive international career.
George travels to China each year as a consultant for many public and private companies. He has conducted U.S. cultural trainings for the Chinese and China cultural trainings to Americans for many of the companies he has consulted for. George has provided both cross cultural training and protocol training for China and a variety of other Asian cultures for the Navy, Army, State of Indiana and other government groups. He recently conducted a cultural competence training at the Pentagon.
Through his experience, George has been able to lead LTC to engage with clients as they bridge the communication gap with China.
