Supporting Make a Wish.
Give Kids The World is a not for Profit 501c3 organization providing memorable trips for terminally ill children and their family in partnership with Make A Wish and other Wish granting organizations.
Each year over 900 nonnative English children and their families visited the Village while going to local area theme parks such as Disney. GKTW engaged with a local organization to provide language support but found the language reach and budget needed far exceed their expectations.
LTC worked with GKTW to shorten the time the families might need an interpreter which resulted in less of their budget that would need to be allocated for this part of the experience. In addition, with LTC providing interpreters in over 300 languages, the scope and depth was added to what they had been doing.
Give Kids the World was able to accommodate additional international families who needed language accommodations as they made their memorable once in a life time trips to the Orlando area. LTC was engaged to also provide language training for employees, cross cultural training and translation as needed.
