Founded in 1983, Robbins Research International, Inc is the research and marketing arm of Anthony Robbins’ personal development businesses. Robbins Research International conducts personal development, sales and corporate seminars that cover a wide range of topics, from mental conditioning and personal achievement systems to communication and business mastery.

Seminars are conducted in English, but attendees may not always have English as their first language. Whether the seminars are in-person, virtual, or a hybrid of the two, interpreters are employed to provide simultaneous interpretation in the languages of the listeners. Since the covid pandemic, the client required that most interpreters be virtual, interpreting from different locations around the globe, with onsite audio feeds provided to them remotely.

For in-person and hybrid events, interpretation booths are still required onsite to provide separation for interpreters to perform their duties which require concentration and freedom from distractions. Interpretation audio equipment is also needed for interpreters in the booths to receive the English floor audio feeds and in turn transmit the target language interpretation to listeners. Clients do not typically maintain the equipment inventory necessary to support all the languages and listeners in each event location. Most clients do not maintain any of their own equipment, and require an equipment technician to set up and monitor the transmissions though single or multi-day conferences.

Since the client’s conferences are attended by thousands of people, up to 800 attendees at one event have required simultaneous interpretation and listening devices. At events spanning from 2020 to 2023, in San Jose, Palm Springs, and Dallas, LTC provided additional capacity for hundreds digital transmitters, fully equipped booths, supplemental transmission equipment, and onsite technicians. Equipment is shipped to locations and managed by LTC personnel.

The client spends valuable resources and months of preparation in the lead up to their events which are informative, transformative, provocative, and entertaining. That is their value proposition, and that is what the client does best. LTC allows clients the opportunity to focus on what they do best, taking the language barriers out of the equation for them so that a wider audience was reached.
