TRANSLATION
When we work with your documents, you can count on receiving an accurate, high quality translation. Whether you are looking for strictly a translation, desktop publishing, a voiceover, subtitling, or transcription service, LTC translators are prepared to deliver excellence and attention to detail with each project. LTC provides professional translation services in over 250 languages and dialects. LTC uses top certified human translators that are assigned per your industry specific terminology.
TRANSLATION SERVICES
DESKTOP PUBLISHING
Translation from one language to another can affect the layout of your document. LTC’s Desktop Publishing department will work with your graphic design files to make sure that the translated document’s layout matches the original source files. Every project is reviewed by a native-speaking translator to ensure that the integrity of the translation has not been compromised by the formatting process.
TRANSCRIPTION
LTC offers transcription services for audio and video recordings in over 100 languages. All transcriptions are reviewed and proofread before final submission to our client.
SUBTITLING
Subtitles are words that appear on the screen during a movie, video, or television show and are translations of what the actors/narrators are saying. LTC will transcribe and time code your script. We will help the client determine what kind of subtitle service is needed- closed or open caption. Due to language expansion, our linguist may have to alter the text to fit in the allotted time while still conveying the proper message.
VOICEOVER
Voice-over is a production technique where a voice— that is not part of the narrative— is used in a radio or television production, filmmaking, theatre, or other presentation. The voice-over is read from a script by a specialist in voice talent. It is usually pre-recorded and placed over the top of a film or video and commonly used in documentaries or news reports to explain information.
LTC has voice-over talent in over 75 languages. Let us know what your needs are and we will be sure your talent captures the essence of your video.

COSTS BY LANGUAGE
When it comes to translation, costs are calculated based on three aspects: time to complete, total number of words, and language pair frequency. All translation services are done on a cost-per-word basis, which means the shorter the document is, the less it will cost. We also consider the frequency of the language pairs in the project, as some language pairs are tougher to translate. One of the languages within the pair may be less common, and demand for a qualified translator in that language may be higher. Consideration for additional services, including voiceover, subtitling, and transcription may add to the total cost.
DISCOUNTS
Pricing discounts are available when a service agreement for multiple projects is signed.
