Sunday, May 5th LTC supports Indiana School of the Deaf on its 68th annual Parent-Teacher-Counselor Organization (PTCO). PTCO was established in 1951 by parents who had a strong desire to partner with the school to improve and enhance opportunities for students and their families at ISD. Sixty-eight years later and PTCO still continues with that tradition.
LTC was happy to be a part of this exciting event. Sunny and cool temperatures made the outdoor activities even more inviting. A packed gymnasium of various vendors showcased their products and services. The ASL interpreters for LTC had the opportunity to interact with a ton of visitors. Visitors were excited to participate in our games for a chance to win lots of fun prizes.
It’s always rewarding to work together with ISD to help them achieve their goals of raising money for the school. It’s even more fun to simultaneously develop closer connections between the school, families and the community. I’m sure they would love working with you as well.
